I want to buy this Volvo. Great mileage, good price, excellent condition. I think it could be the deal I've been waiting for.

Carfax was clean... except....

It failed emissions last year and passed a few days later. I am trying to get more info.

Is this a big red flag??? I just don't know if I should walk away because of it. Not sure how to gauge if it is a big deal or not.

Any advice would be appreciated!!!

Hi hcgworkedforme,

Failing and then passing emission means the problem had been sloved and the mileage is quite low for a car of its age so should not be anything major.

Good luck.
