1989 740 2lt 7 seat estate auto. Anyone help? my car failed its mot test due to very high HC emissions in the exhaust. have changed plugs/leads/distributer. Starter injector and main injectors are ok. All ignition system is ok but car still runs rich. Also pre-ignition noises occasionally although ignition timing is spot on. Any ideas please?
