I just bought a 1999 and a half Volkswagen Jetta. It's a 2.0L with a 5 Speed Manual transmission. It's got 128000 miles on it. It was driving fine for the last month. then about a week ago it didn't go into 5th gear when I tried. I tried again by slamming the stick all the way over and it went in. now it won't hit 5th at all. any thoughts? thanks.
