It sounds like you have a bad rack and pinion. Or it could be on the off chance a bad strut on that side. Check your power steering fluid level and if the fluid has an ashen gray color it is probably the rack and pinion. The color means that alumnum from the rack and pinion has disolved inside of the steering and the rack and pinion needs to be changed. It is probably worse when it is cold.
If not "bounce" each side of the car and see if one side bounces more than the other. Let me know
