I have a question about the door lock. My alternator has gone out and I have disconnected the battery and locked the door and I wanted to know if there is a way to open the door without the battery connected because I can't open the doors to get the hood open.

Any suggestions?

The battery does not need to be connected for you to open the door lock with the key. Spray some WD40 in lock mechanisim (key hole) and turn from side to side. It's probably a little jammed up from not being used. Also try the same on the passenger door ! Let me know
