Computer problem
1993 Volkswagen Eurovan Two Wheel Drive Automatic 120000 miles
----------------------------------------------------------------
Hi, I have an Eurovan 1993 GL 5 cylinders. Since one year, a problem stops me from driving it. Here is the situation: At any moment, the fire stops, the RPM hand goes crazy and the automatic transmision doesn't respond well. After a few minutes, the van restarts but can stop again anytime. The air sensor, the oxygen sensor, the grounds and the electronic ignition were checked. After, the coil has been changed and the van worked for about two months but the same problem came back. What's wrong? What is the source of the problem? Is it an engine or transmission computer problem? Thank you for helping me. I'm lost! JÉJÉ

Hi there.

you will need to have a scan done to check foe any fault codes, do this first and re post your findings or your mechanic can advise your next move.
