1973 Volkswagen Beetle 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual

I have an oil bath filter and I put too much oil in it. Now I have a mess in the engine. I want to know if it possible to change to a paper air filter. If so, how would I go about doing that?

You can go to just about any parts store, and purchase yourself an aftermarket chrome filter, for one barrel carburetor, but I suggests you don't do it, the oil bath filter, is the best filter ever designed, yet it's kind of a pain, but all you need to do is clean it out and replace it with clean oil, that's not very hard, is it?
