Hello there,

I Have this really annoying problem with my car as it shakes when it goes over the speed of 40 at gently pressing the gas pedal and the RPMs down to 1,200, this vibration goes away if I press the pedal hard to rev up the rpms, I have changed the spark plugs, changed transmission fluid and changed to new engine mounts, but the problem is still there, even the mechanic couldn’t find the issue. I went to transmission guys he said everything is fine. I am so worried about it now. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Sure, if the engine is not misfiring, I have seen worn out CV axles cause this problem. The CV cup wears out and causes a binding when under acceleration. Here is how to change the CV axles out which should solve the issue.

Hello there,

I appreciate your response; I did some work by myself and recorded a video from under the car. Could you please watch the video and advise me of the problem there? Thanks very much.

Thanks for the video. You won't be able to tell by what you are doing, the CV axles will need to be removed and disassembled to check the cups and center ball holder for wear to be sure.
