If you have a bent wheel, it will likely be felt at all times and not just under a load.
As far as the axle, a failing CV joint can do this. Check to make sure none of the rubber boots over the joints are damaged and leaking grease. Also, in a safe area, from a start, turn the steering wheel fully and slowly accelerate. Oftentimes, a failing joint will make a clicking noise. Here is a link you may find of interest.
