I have heavy vibration in my steering wheel when I try to brake while the car is running above 100 kmph speed. This started since I left my car for a month out in the snow during my Christmas vacation. I have driven it long enough after the vacation for the rust to wear off. I still lightly feel it when I go slower as well but it amplifies with speed.

Any suggestions? Thank you.

I would say to pull the brake rotors and have them skim cut on a brake lathe because it is likely due to rusting. What happens is that the rotor that is out in the open rusts but the spot under the brake pads doesn't rust. Now you try to run it and the rusted areas scrape off but the areas that were under the pads are now slightly thicker and they hit the pads as they rotate, and you get vibration. A skim cut would smooth that out and should remove the vibration. You could also just replace the rotors but if they are still thick enough that they are good after a cut, it may be cheaper to cut them. Been through this on a lot of cars that sat out in the weather.
