2005 Vauxhall Vectra Boot Lock

2005 Vauxhall Vectra 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual

I been having problems with the boot on my vectra cdti 1.9. When I closed the boot the display on the dashboard showed that it was open. Now I can't close it, I can't seem to get the hook in the open position of the lock, it's in the closed position. Is there a way of unjamming it without buying a new lock

place a screwdiver into the gap under hook .. turn key and move hook to unlocked position .. if this does not work you will need to replace the locking mechanism !

Thanks Dave, put the key in ignition, pressed the button to open the boot from the door, put the screwdriver in then pressed the button on the boot and it worked. Great job thanks for your help
