2005 Vauxhall Vectra V12 Front Wheel Drive Automatic

hi I drove over a speed hump the other day, and straight after I started hearing a knocking noise, took the car into a garage yesterday and they checked the car over and diagnosed a broken spring in the drivers front wheel. The car was repaired. This morning droved the car off the driveway and herd a ginding noise when I got out and checked the car the whole front had collapsed, both sides, I phoned them striaght away and they are collecting it monday. I need some sort of idea as to whats happened to the car to determine if I have a claim against them, or some sort of ammo against them.
