When I start the engine the revs are too low to keep the car running so the engine stalls, unless I keep on the throttle. It usualy fixes itself after a mile or so but if I come to a junction and come to a stop the revs will go low again, and then stall. When starting back up I get the Engine Fault light which will go off after a mile or so. It does this most times when I start the car! Its really frustrating and cant be good for the battery stopping and starting every few minutes. What could be wrong?

You need to have the vehicle plugged into a diagnostic scanner at a repair centre to find out where the fault lies.. everytime the engine light comes on it set's a code in the cars computer memory so a tech can easily diagnose the fault .. get the codes and repost for a better diagnosis and repair information !! In the meantime add a good fuel cleaner to the fuel tank to clean injectors and fuel lines etc. ...

let me know !
