Car will start and idle but give it slightest bit of gas it dies.

There are a few parts on these engines that will cause this so with no check engine light on to narrow it down. You will need to isolate the issue by process of elimination, meaning you will to test each related component to make sure these parts are working normally.

I would start with checking the fuel pressure when is running and see what the pressure is at. Next I would test the throttle position sensor, oxygen sensor and map sensor to make sure there are no issues there.

If your not familiar most of the parts on the engine then I would suggest taking it to a mechanic shop to diagnose this issue. There are a lot of parts that can cause this and a lot of part needing to function properly to allow the engine to run and accelerate.
