Can you use flex fuel in a car that has always used gas?

You can only use flex fuel if your vehicle is programmed for it. You will know this by the fuel cap is normally yellow or it says flex fuel vehicle somewhere on the engine or gas cap. If your vehicle is not equipped with flex fuel capability it will damage the engine and exhaust so you cannot use it. However, if your vehicle is able to run flex fuel then you can run it at any point even if you have never run it before. The PCM will recognize it and adjust the performance to accommodate it.

I do not show your vehicle having a flex fuel option so I doubt it is capable.

Does this make sense?
