Hello,

It could be any number of items, like a splash shield or other component.
Please upload pictures of the part that is hanging down, it will help us determine.

Thank you.

Hi,

I certainly see it, but it is just blurry enough that I can't determine what it is. Would it be possible for you to take a couple of pics closer to the item and from under the vehicle looking upward?

Let me know.

Joe

Hello, can you take a picture of the component so we can identify it?

That's the front of the vehicle, correct? It looks like possibly an access panel was ripped out after hitting something in the road. Are you noticing any running conditions? Check engine light on?

Yes, that is the front of the vehicle. The car is running fine, no engine light is on.

Did you buy this vehicle used? I see a plastic tie wrap behind one of those ripped out screw hold downs. It looks like this has been repaired before.

No, this was a brand-new vehicle, and I didn’t hit anything, that’s why I’m surprised.

I see plastic tie wraps here too. It's not any part of the engine hanging down, it's just part of the protective shield.

Well, I would just have someone push it back up and do a few more tie wraps around the edges. You don't really need to replace the entire shield for that one little section. This doesn't need to go to a shop for this. A lot of shops are charging huge labor rates now. So, if you know someone handy, I'd have them do it. You don't want to pay a $100.00 to fix this.
