I scanned my car listed above today and I received a U05A0 code. It says invalid data received from evaporative emission (EVAP) leak detection system control module. Does anyone know what’s wrong? Should I clear the code or take it in to get looked at?

Hello,

You should clear the code get the check engine light to go out then go for a drive and if the check engine light comes back in rescan it and get the fresh code before you plan in bringing it to a shop. Its a minor code and your probably not getting any performance issues. A common thing with an evaporate code is a loose gas cap so make sure it's on tight after you clear it and go for a drive.
Let me know what happens and what code gets triggered again.
Tom
