I am replacing the steering column on a 1990 Dodge D250 turbo Cummins. On the new column the turn signal switch is broken. The only difference in the columns is the new column is tilt the old is not, but I need to take the turn signal switch from the old column and put it on the new. How do I do so?

I would suggest just cutting the connector with the wiring off and splice it to the existing harness. Basically you are making your own connector repair kit with a wiring pigtails. Just make sure you give yourself about 4 inches or more of wiring on the connector that you need so that you have plenty of slack to splice it on. Does this make sense?
