Trunk won't open

The trunk will not open with the key or button . What can I do ? Please help!

Do you have a split rear seat? you should be able to access the boot this way and trigger the lock open.

Yes I do but I'm trying to look up what this "boot" is and I can't find a picture or where it should be or anything .

A bit of a mix up here, i live in Australia and what we call the boot is what you call the trunk, one of those funny things that get lost in translation so to speak, so just drop the split seat and get into the trunk /boot with a torch and a screw driver and you should be able to trigger the lock, if you are not sure a mechanic or someone with a little expertise can do this easily.
