When we are driving the truck will stall. After sitting for a little while it will start back up and drive for an unknown amount of time and stall again, usually every ten minutes or so, but it seems to be getting progressively worse. We have changed: plugs, coil packs, injectors, fuel pump, fuel pump relay under the hood. Any ideas as to what could be causing this? Thank you.

Try this; switch the EEC relay with another relay under the hood with the same part number. See if the problem goes away.

Let me know what happens.

I will try that later today, thank you. FYI this truck does not sputter or anything showing that it is starving for gas it just cuts out. All the power and accessories are still on. I have read threads that suggest it could be the ignition switch being worn out, relays, Idle air control needs changed or cleaned, and possible the fuel pump control module. But, I think that is F150 5.4 Triton only- cannot find it on our F250 sd 5.4 Triton.

To me it sounds like a classic crankshaft angle sensor that is going which most of the time will not set a code.

Here is a guide to help you see what you are in for when doing the job:

Below is what it will be like for your car.

Please let us know what you find. I'm interested to see what it is.

Cheers, Ken
