I was getting on the freeway, got up to seventy mph when it just quit running.
Pulled over it would not start. Two new batteries five months old both reading 12.58 vdc. Happened to me before so I replaced the two batteries and its ran ever sense until now.I am loosing money every day it is down. As of now Ford has it, they can not diagnose it for four more days, and they want $280.00 to do so. I need some solid answers please help.

This could be a number of things but since it is a diesel, I suspect it is a fuel issue. So we need to start with a fuel pressure check. Here is a guide that will help but your vehicle is a diesel so you are dealing with high pressure fuel so we need to be careful.

More then likely you have an injector issue or the fuel pressure regulator has failed which is not uncommon on these trucks. I attached below the process on how to replace the regulator if this proves out.

Let us know what happens. Thanks
