Car does not move in either drive or reverse

my problem is, the car does not move if the gear lever is shifted to either drive or reverse.

make sure transmission is shifting first then have a transmission professional look at it, he has to check fluid anyhow as there may not be a dipstick. if it moves in any gear it may be in limp mode which a scanner will need to be attached or it is an internal problem.
