Went to work this morning ran fine. Left work put it in gear and it kind of banged a little bit putting it in drive. Took off, felt almost like the emergency brake was dragging. It never shifted once in 13 miles of back roads. 40 mph was running at 2,000 rpm's, normally it runs 70 mph at 2,000 rpm's. Takes off slow like the emergency brake is dragging. Parked, checked the fluid, it's fine and color was normal pinkish. Shut the hood 1 minute later the check engine light comes on. Anyone have any idea? Thanks

We need to get the codes. More than likely you have a sensor issue which caused this to go into limp mode but without the codes we are just guessing. Most parts stores can pull the codes free of charge. If you get me those, I am sure we can figure this out.

Is there a chance that this was P0750 and not 7050? The Low Reverse Solenoid will cause what you are experiencing. I attached the testing that we need to run through in order to determine the failure. Unfortunately there is a good possibility for a wiring issue or I would just tell you to replace the solenoid assembly.
