Aloha. My CV axle became separated from my transmission, as I was driving down the road, and the axle gobbled up the wire harness to my transmission. I have tried to remove the wire harness in hopes of replacing it, but It gets complicated as I follow the harness away from my transmission. I have been unable to find information on this part, for my make and model. Part number 3B7971769B looks to me, to be it, but the part says it's for a 4.0 LT engine. I'm honestly pretty convinced that this is the correct part, but my real question is, how big of a job am I looking at, trying to replace this, and is there any way to get instructions for the replacement on my vehicle? Any feed back would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hi,

It isn't going to be a fun job, but if you get the right harness, it should be removing and replacing the harness. I'm not sure exactly which part of the harness was damaged, but I attached two pics below. They are of the entire wiring schematic for the transmission circuit. I had to cut the pic in half to make it readable, but I overlapped it in the center so you can follow it. Hopefully, that will help.

Let me know if I can help.

Joe
