Have the vehicle listed above, put it into drive it will not go to first or second or third gear. It seems to be stuck in high gear won't downshift, it goes into reverse just fine. What would be the cause of that?

It sounds like the valve body is having a problem, but we need to run the codes to see what comes up.

Here is a guide to help us get started:

And this guide may help as well:

Please go over these guides and get back to us.

Here is what is said about the codes:

P0743: This code refers to a problem with the torque converter clutch (TCC) solenoid. The torque converter is a component in an automatic transmission that transfers power from the engine to the transmission. The TCC solenoid is responsible for engaging and disengaging the torque converter clutch. When this code appears, it usually means there is an issue with the TCC solenoid circuit, such as a faulty solenoid, wiring problem, or a bad connection.

P0755: This code indicates a malfunction with the shift solenoid B. Automatic transmissions use shift solenoids to control the flow of transmission fluid and engage specific gears. When this code is present, it typically means there is an issue with the shift solenoid B circuit, such as a faulty solenoid, wiring problem, or an electrical connection issue.

P1788: This code specifically relates to Chrysler, Dodge, and Jeep vehicles. It refers to a problem with the pressure control solenoid control circuit. The pressure control solenoid is responsible for regulating the hydraulic pressure within the transmission. When this code appears, it usually means there is an issue with the control circuit for the pressure control solenoid, which could be caused by a faulty solenoid, wiring problem, or an electrical connection issue.

So, either the transmission has had an internal problem or the PCM has gone out. Can you check the fluid condition? This guide can help. It could be the last code causing the first two so I would try a rebuilt valve body

Here is how to change out the valve body below.

Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.
