Transmission slipping after brake and oil change

I have a 2003 and 2005 Pontiac Vibe. I changed the oil and changed the brake pads on each car on the same day. Afterwards BOTH cars developed a noticeable slip in the transmission. Sometimes when pulling into the driveway both cars act as if they are in neutral and begin to roll back. What could I have affected by either changing the oil or the brake pads?

Engine oil changes nor brake pads do not have any effect on transmission. If battery was disconnected, engine control would be effected and that can cause changes to the idling speed which would effect the characteristics of transmission control.

I am not sure if you mean the slipping is when idling in gear vehicle rolls backwards on an incline.
This can occur depending on
1. Engine idling speed too low.
2. Transmission fluid level.
3. Gradient of slope.
