The transmission shifts up and down but no go, drop-ed the oil pan and there's no indication of transmission being burned, After I start the car, there's no indication of oil warming and the level on the measuring stick does not go down. There's no weird noises the come out of the transmission that would tell me that the transmission is sleeping.
This car throw the timing belt and the engine was replaced with another used engine.
The vehicle was set in some driveway for several years and I bought it as a project car but I don't think the guy was honest with the history of the car anyway, It would be nice to get this little car on the road again.

Appreciate your reply/advice but unfortunately the only guy in town the worked on transmissions retired and moved out of state but I did went to work on the transmission and replaced the pump which by the way I found the gear broken in five pieces, Replaced the converter and bought a master rebuild kit. I thought everything went well only to my disappointment the now, Reverse and low drive forward work but drive and second doesn't,

I been thinking as to what I may have done wrong if any and it's possible that I may have installed the REVERSE SPRANG assembly backwards cause my understanding on the SPRAG is that locks in one direction and does acts as a clutch on the opposite direction but must of all I did get distracted when this part of the work was being done.

If you aenot getting second gear even when putting it in low then 2nd then I'd check for something in the valve body like metal shavings due to the broken pump gear. The sprag works for drive initially but after 2nd it doesn't but check it anyhow it. Also make sure your throttle cable is adjusted properly as it may not have enough pressure when you take off andcheck the governor for junk in it as well. If you used the original torque converter tht ai where your junk came from and if you didn't have it replaced or cleaned out at least youll have to clean out your lines as well because torque converter goes to cool to rad right away.
