Trouble shifting from third to fourth

I had got stuck in moms yard, in February of 2019 and l had to call Garys Towing to pull me out, and then l drove home. I noticed it on the way home it got grinded little and reverse was not working, l was going to back in my yard, and l had to have friends push me in my spot. I went through the gears, and park was there, and drive was in every gear, but park, even neutral. A friend of mine got under it and he said the linkage had been hit to bent a rod or whatever. The big chain that he used hit on it maybe.
