It sounds like it is not able to build fluid pressure after you drive it a minute. It could just be a clogged transmission filter. You would have to service the transmission just to find out. And that job is not something you want to do in your driveway, because the cross member has to be lowered to get to a few of the bolts around the transmission pan.
It could also be that the screen on the pump is clogged. I am not big on trying the old "mechanic in a bottle" usually, but I have had some luck with putting Motor Purr in the transmission to solve this issue. It is a cheap thing to try before forking out $200.00 to service the transmission. Here is a link:
