My car listed above e12 digs chassis number E12-230699 showed an engine check light and upon diagnosis an error code P0846 was detected, meaning faulty CV transmission fluid pressure sensor. This has led to high fuel consumption as it move in high revs and a bit of jerking. Where is the CVT fluid pressure sensor located and am kindly asking for an online site where I can buy it because Nissan Zambia doesn't have it and have tried eBay it's not there.

The P0846 code indicates an issue with the transmission fluid pressure (TFP) sensor/switch B circuit. Here is the location of the sensor but this can be because of low fluid levels.

Fluid Types

Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) Fluid (If equipped)

Type. Genuine NISSAN CVT Fluid NS-3*

*Use only Genuine NISSAN CVT Fluid NS-3. Using transmission fluid other than Genuine NISSAN CVT Fluid NS-3 will damage the CVT, which is not covered by the NISSAN new vehicle limited warranty.
Capacities

Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) Fluid (If equipped)

Capacity. 7-1/4 qt (6.9L)

Here is how to check the fluid level. Please check out the images below

I would just get a rebuilt valve body this will ensure the sensor and the valves are working correctly.
