After replacing the clutches in transmission and the filter with a banner kit, there is a clunk sound when shifting the transmission into.

My friend changed the clutches in transmission and the filter with a banner kit and now when my foot is on brake standing still, I hear a clunk sound when I put it in drive and when I put it in reverse same noise a clunk. Any idea what it could be?

That sounds like driveline motion, likely due to worn engine or transmission mounts. Open the hood and have someone shift the transmission the same way while watching the engine. If it is moving a lot and hitting the mounts or exhaust and causing the clunk. Being that the transmission was out those would be the first suspects.
