Transmission not changing gears properly, code P0522

My vehicle doesn't change gears, it is stuck in first gear when pulling off in drive mode. At times it runs normal then it goes back driving sluggish and not changing gears. What seem to be the cause of this? The DTC scan code p0522.

In addition I forgot to mention one morning it was not driving at all only reverse. After about 15 minutes the next day, I started it let it warm up and it drove forward but sluggish, have to mash hard on the gas.

Hello,

This sounds like the input shaft speed sensor is not working right the p0522 is for low oil pressure in the engine. can you please check the oil level? But it sounds like you may have a clogged catalytic converter which lowers vacuum and changed the shifting. To be sure here is a guide so you can check it:
