First, make sure the transmission fluid is clean and full. If it is dirty, you should consider servicing it. Here are general directions for doing so:

If the fluid is clean and full or has recently been serviced, check transmission mounts, engine mounts, and axle joints. Here is a link which reviews symptoms of a bad CV joint on the axle. You will see it refers to a clicking, so see if that is happening.
