Transmission shift solenoid replacement

Can they be replaced without removing the transmission?

Hi Byron,

I assume you are talking about the shift solenoids that are in the valvebody? If so, I included the procedure on how to remove the valvebody and reinstall it and yes, you can do it without removing the transmission.

Do you happen to have a diagram of the transmission shift solenoids? I bought 1 I just don’t know if it’s shift A or B.
