My car is a 1996 Toyota Tercel with 116,000 miles.
I don't know the engine size.
I was recently in a couple of dust storms during a trip to the desert. Since then my car hesitates when I change gears and accelerate. Could it be that there is some dust clogging something? I have already replaced the air filter and that didn't help.
Thank you for any ideas!

Hello !!
I would recomend you to tune-up your engine..
Spark-plugs gas filter dist. cap and rotor and check the wires..

sometimes the dust particles are so fine that enters through the filter creating an arcing on the sparkplugs reducing the spark intensity...

let us know and good Luck!

(BTW thanks for your donation ! )
