This is a follow up to my last question. My car chocked out and died on the freeway. It wouldnt start only turn over. I towed it home and checked the plugs there was a bit of oil in the chamber where the plug was. We checked the compression it was ok. And we replaced the cap and rotor because it wasnt getting spark to the plugs. After that the car ran about 7 miles choked out and died again. Felt the same as before. So I had it towed home again and it will only just turn over. What do you think coulde be wrong?

Hi:
Have you checked for spark and fuel to the engine? When you say it "choked out" do you mean the carb choke closed and it died?

Spuddered cut out then died. We checked the sparks plugs they were wet with 0il we replaced them had to replace the cap and rotor cuz it needed it and wasnt sending spark to the plugs it ran for 1 day and died again same problem apparently. Its fuel injected

Hi:
Are the new plugs oil filed too? Are you getting spark now? Have you checked fuel pressure?

THE FIRST TIME THE CAR QUIT I CLEANED THE PLUGS OFF REAL GOOD. THE SECOND TIME IT QUIT ONLY THE FIRST PLUG WAS OILY AND NOT NEARLY AS MUCH AS THE 1ST ONES. SO I REPLACED THEM AND NOW IT WONT START IT JUST CRANKS OVER
