Can I replace my 1991 5 speed manual transmission with a 1994 4 speed manual transmission? The engine is a 1500 cc.

You should be able to. Overall length may be a problem where you have to change driveshafts too. I don't have access to an interchange, but you could call your local salvage yard and they can tell you for sure.
