I have a check engine light due to the air fuel ratio sensors. Is there any way to cheaply or temporariliy get these sensors to behave just long enough for the computer to reset and I can pass inspection. If I clear the codes I fail on "Computer Not Ready" so I need an actual temporary fix. I would rather not spend the $200+ dollars each on the sensors if possible. The car runs great.
I was thinking of spraying electrical wire cleaner on them? What actually "goes" when they stop working right? Is it simply irreversible? Or can I get just one more temporary fix and a passed inspection out of them? THANKS for your time!
