My toyota rav4 2wd 4 door has been diagnosed with having a bad rear wheel bearing. I don't notice anything when I drive it, but the mechanic says it is "shot". Is it safe to drive until I can find a trusted mechanic? The original problem was a bent rim, which has been changed.

Get it fix immediately-you don't want a big surprise at 55mph when it does decide to come off.
