I have a 1999 Toyota Tacoma Regular cab 4 X 4 with a 2.7L 4Cyl with the 5 speed manual transmission. I bought the truck with about 40,000 miles on it and now have 98,000 miles on it. About three years ago a strange squeak started somewhere under the bed. It only does it when I lift off of the gas. It will appear for a while and then disappear sometimes for a year and then start again. I have WD-40'd all the bushings that I can see. It seems to be coming from under the right side of the bed. I have tried every attempt to locate it. It is absolutely driving me crazy. It sound like a cricket on crack. I have checked the tightness of all of the bolts and nuts. PLEASE help me on this, my sanity depends on it

I don't rcommend this but I would lay down in the bed with a stethoscope and locate the noise, probably a loose bolt or something similar
