I have a 1995 Toyota Tacoma four cyl, and mileage of 140,000. My windshield wipers stay on and will not shut off. Even my intermittant wiper stays on regular wipe and the sprayer does not work now when I push the button. What could be the cause, and how do I fix it?

Do they cut off when the key is turned off?

The most common problem with wipers in the model year is the wiper switch. You have to repalce the entire assembly on the column.

Good Luck Let me know

When the ignition is cut, they do turn off, and sometimes they turn off when I hit the switch to stop wiping the windshield.
