My engine light has been on for a couple months, in need of a fuel/air ratio sensor according to the code, but the car has acted fine other than getting a slight drop in gas mileage so I declined to fix. Starting yesterday my rav will usually die when i let off the gas and push in clutch, it surges when steadily driving, and cannot accelerate over 65mph without surging/jumping. Both fans are running and I have a blown 10 amp EFI 3 fuse. The codes I have now retrieved are P0100(mass or volume air flow circuit malfunction) & P0505(idle control system malfunction). The code for the previous problem(fuel/air sensor) no longer shows up. My rav has 140,000 miles. These three parts the codes refer to are very expensive ($450 total), Is it really possible I need to replace all three. How can I be sure? is there a way to bench test each component? Please advise. thanks, Joe
