Removal and replacement of the exhaust system components is a straightforward job.
All parts are out in the open and which section you wish to replace, just unbolt both ends and remove any rubber hangers to get it off.
Spray some anti rust on the bolts or nut before attempting to loosen them.
A warm exhaust would be easier to remove the bolts or nuts but will be painful if you are not careful.
