The car listed above is an Opa. I have had this car for 9 months.
The climate control panel has always remained the same as it is in the photo uploaded.
I cannot change any settings.
The fuses to the blower motor and to the control panel are fine.
The blower motor is Fine as I have taken it out and ran the motor off the battery as a test.
Now the only button that works on the panel is the hazard button.
The hazard button is a part of the circuit board that powers all of the other buttons on this panel except for the clock which is separate.
I have taken the panel out and opened it to see if I could find any burnt circuit wields (etc, ) but nothing at all.

I hope you can help as my situation is dire.
All windows fog over in the rain and in New Zealand it is the beginning of Winter.
As you can see on the passenger floor there is cat litter to help soak up the moister that remains ever present in my vehicle.

Hi,

First, this vehicle isn't offered in the US, but I will try my best to help.

Since this appears to be an electrical issue, the first thing I suggest is to have the can-bus scanned. CAN stands for controller area network. Basically, all the modules and computers are tied together via a few wires. This type of scan will identify diagnostic trouble codes regardless of the module storing them.

Here is a link showing how it's done:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/can-scan-controller-area-network-easy

The reason I suggest this is because it becomes a guessing game without codes. Based on what is happening, I suspect it is related to the HVAC control module, but that is an expensive part, and I don't want to be wrong.

Let me know if this is something you can have done. If so, let me know the codes that are retrieved.

I will watch for your reply.

Take care,

Joe

I've booked an appointment for tomorrow so I should hear back from them at some stage in the afternoon about what the issue is with my car.

Hi,

That sounds like a plan. If you have an opportunity, let me know what they find. I'm interested in knowing.

Take care,

Joe

Right, so I got my car back from Circuit Auto Electrical and their findings are that they "checked the electrical circuit and found no power to fuse and suspect faulty climate control module".
I have to hunt around for a second hand climate control and have them change the fuse.

By chance, do you know what fuse they are referring to? There could be a problem upstream causing the loss of power to that fuse.

Let me know.
