Electrical problem
2006 Toyota Corolla 60,000 miles

So a while ago (December) it was a rainy day and I came to my car to realize the battery was dead. I got a friend to bring over some jumper cables. About 40 minutes later (when he arrived) I opened my hood, then opened the passenger door then my car beeped and lights flashed. It worked!
Now fast forward a bit, February - I parked my car, came back 5 minutes later and It would not start. Walked by inside, came out perhaps 10 minutes later and then my car worked fine.
Later on in the week, Parked my car in the rain, came back ~20 minutes later, and it was dead. Waited for 5 minutes - walked out of the car then back and it worked again!
2 days later, my car doesn't start. I've been trying the past day and a half seeing if it will magically re-live again but no such luck... Anyone know whats going on? Or what needs to be fixed?

Have battery and charging system checked at most autoparts stores for free. This will also include a drain test, to check for parasitic drains on battery,

if ok, then check the battery connections, make sure they are clean and tight.
