I have a question, nothing is wrong with my car. It's my room mates car. She always needs a boost, and I"ve given her 2 in the past week. I'm just worried what this will do to my car/battery etc. Should I just tell her no, b/c I don't want my battery to go on me!
She really needs to do something about her car and not rely on others to boost her all the time!

So will boosting other people's cars too much cause any damage to my own car?

Thanks!

Check your owners manual with regard to jumping other cars.

Tell your friend she can get the battery checked for free at a local autoparts store.

The danger in jumping other cars is hydrogen gas that lead-acid batteries produce and of course connecting to the wrong terminals (+ and -).
