Noises problem
2002 Toyota Corolla Front Wheel Drive Manual 100000 miles

When my car reaches 2000 revs + the engine makes a funny noise (similar to a humming noise), this occurs in any gear (1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and even reverse). Help?

How loud is this noise?

It is a possible motor mount, timing chain issue.

You can remove the cam cover and look at the chain, look for broken teeth and that the chain is well oiled.

Do you change oil/filter every 3-5000 miles?
