2001 Toyota Corolla delay in Pickup

After the engine start, after keeping it stopped(engine off) for sometime, the pickup is very less. The gear engages correctly. But the pickup is not good as when the engine is hot. After it gets hot ( after 5 minutes) the pickup is ok.

The transmission oil condition is good.

HI there,

This is a bit hard to tell with pout a test drive, so what I will suggest is first get a scan to check for any unresolved fault codes, and then get a transmission specialist to take it for a road test so that he can experience this issue, I do feel that this will need a hands on test to work out what the problem is.
