While driving my car, I hear a hissing sound (like air is going through somewhere) coming from the front of the car.

If engine idle changes it is most likely a vacuum leak.
Also look at radiator hoses for leaks.
There are a couple vacuum switching valves, one for EVAP system on throttle body, it will usually click but can hiss.
