Can you let me know at what intervals the Transmission fluid needs to be changed for a Toyota Corolla. The manual recommends inspection for the most part.

Your owners manual is the best information you have. Newer Toyota's have use a new fluid with a very long change interval. Some manuals say it would only need to be changed if used for towing (for example).
If it smells burnt or has a dark color, then I would change it.
